🚣 WE’RE ROWING FROM EDINBURGH TO PLYMOUTH FOR HOSANNA HOUSE AND CHILDREN'S PILGRIMAGE TRUST GROUP 3!

On Friday 13 November 2026, the Alegra team along with some of our partner companies will be taking on a huge rowing-machine challenge at PureGym Gloucester on Eastern Avenue.

Together, we will attempt to row the equivalent distance from Edinburgh to Plymouth. We chose this route because it represents the locations of our furthest-north and furthest-south advisers, bringing the whole Alegra team together for one brilliant cause.

HCPT Group 3 is a Gloucestershire-based charity that takes local children with additional needs on an unforgettable week-long Easter holiday to Lourdes. Supported by dedicated volunteers, they enjoy new experiences, activities, laughter and friendship in a safe and supportive environment that helps build confidence and creates lifelong memories.

Trips like this are only possible through fundraising. Your donation will help towards the travel, accommodation, meals, activities and support required to give these children a truly special experience.

Every donation, however big or small, will help us move closer to Plymouth and help HCPT Group 3 give more people the holiday of a lifetime.
Please donate using the link below and share our challenge with your friends, family and colleagues:

Shared Ownership can be a helpful route into homeownership for people who are not yet in a position to buy on the open market. 🏡

It allows eligible buyers to purchase a share of a property and pay rent on the remaining share, which can make getting onto the property ladder feel more manageable for some households.

Like any mortgage route, it is important to understand how it works, what the costs look like, and whether it suits your circumstances before moving forward.

Get in touch if you’d like to talk through whether Shared Ownership could be suitable for you. 🏡

What a fantastic day and evening we had on Friday on the Alegra quarterly team social!

We kicked things off with some incredible food at Sef Steakhouse before heading to Flight Club Cheltenham where it became VERY competitive!

Moments like these are a great reminder that while we’re passionate about what we do, it’s the people who make Alegra what it is. We’re incredibly proud of the team we’ve built, and we genuinely couldn’t do it without every one of you.

A special thank you to Michelle, Maisie, Ella, and Alex!

Bring on the next one! 🎯

Many homeowners leave their remortgage review until the last minute, but looking ahead can give you more time to consider your options. ⏳

If your current rate ends in the coming months, starting the conversation now may help you plan with more confidence and avoid unnecessary pressure.

Critical illness cover is there to support people financially if they are diagnosed with a specified serious illness during the policy term, subject to policy conditions. 🌿

For many families, that can mean extra help at a time when work, routines, and priorities may all change very quickly.

Understanding what cover does can help make planning feel clearer
