It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and we’re taking the time to focus on our people at Old Mill. 💚🧠

To celebrate, we kick started our very first Wellbeing Wednesday event, a series of weekly opportunities to check in on the mental health and wellbeing of our team.

As part of these events, we’re setting up various activities every Wednesdays, from lunchtime walks to internal webinars. 🚶‍➡️🌳

It’s so important for our people to be able to build connections and take time away, so together we can build a workplace where people feel supported, respected and able to bring their whole selves to work.

‘I had a very long running dispute with HMRC dating from my 2012 tax return. HMRC’s challenge to my return was procedurally in error, and this was identified by my Old Mill accountant. A long-running enquiry ensued, and despite endless correspondence with the HMRC over the years, no conclusion was reached.

‘I was delighted when Chris took on the case, and his knowledge of HMRC’s working resulted in the enquiry being settled and a large repayment being unlocked.

‘The monies have since been productively invested, and with the stress of the dispute behind me, life has improved so much!

‘A great and fair result, thank you Chris.’
