Here’s a shortened version of what happens, but in reality we do the heavy lifting, the handover and the set up. You guys just have to get in touch! 📞

We really like to get to know our clients, what they need and how they operate, so the onboarding will always include a phone call or a meeting (and we like to chat just fyi) 🗣️

With MTD coming and undoubtably more in the future, you need an accountant who is nice, understanding and one you actually don’t mind getting in touch with!

Today marks the end of our 5th year in business! 🤯

We hear it all the time, it’s just over £4k a month isn’t it 🤔

Instagram will tell you that withdrawing £50k means you only pay a few thousand in tax at an effective tax rate of about 6%. But with company taxes paid first, how much do you actually need to earn to pay yourself £50k after tax? 📸

£58,800 - That is what you need. 🤩

You also need to be putting away 25% of your profit for your tax bill! 💵

Whilst reviewing some accounts for a new client we noticed a few bits missing from their accounts. This was a few sizeable transactions that weren’t showing in their figures or on their VAT returns 😨

Last week we met at Wizu in York to have a chat about our processes, policy’s and do some planning for the year ahead 🗓️

Obviously there was Pizza 🍕 (brain food 🧠) and coffee ☕️ and we got into what we do well, what we can improve on and how we can be better all around than we have been previously ✅

A fun day! Sometimes it’s nice to sit and chew the fat and there was some great ideas 💡 coming out of January (eventually) feeling energised and ready to go for the rest of the year 💪🏻
