Meet Louise Walding 👋

Louise comes from a long career in technology and business transformation. Her role prior to joining Alex and his team was delivering large, complex, business transformation initiatives with the goal of ensuring clients realised their return on investment.

With a keen interest in Savings and Investment and being a long-term client of Alex’s, she was excited to join Pineapple Financial Planning; responsible for overseeing back office operations and administering business service support for clients.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys most outdoor activities including running, walking and trips back to the Lake District, where she used to be a member of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team.

The government has announced a 22% charge on the interest on cash savings held within non-cash ISAs, including stocks and shares ISAs and innovative finance ISAs, from April 2027.

ISA providers and investors have been calling for government to give clarity on the treatment of cash holdings in non-cash ISAs. It follows the announcement in the Budget in November last year of a reduction in the annual tax-free cash ISA allowance for the under-65s from next April.
