⏳2028年1月31日之後，所有向 SBTi 提交的減碳目標將強制執行此 2.0 新標準。

Grant Thornton Hong Kong’s Advisory Team held an online media briefing this morning (29 June) to share findings from the newly released "Sale and Purchase Agreement Research Report 2026". Mr. Barry TongTong Piu, Partner & Head of Advisory, and Ms. Katherine Chung, Associate Director of Advisory, discussed key factors affecting Hong Kong's corporate transaction activities in 2025 and analysed the market's gradual recovery and outlook for 2026 amid elevated financing costs and macro uncertainties.

The Advisory Team revealed that corporate transactions by Hong Kong-listed companies decreased 11% to 222 deals in 2025, driven by reduced asset acquisitions and property disposals. However, first-quarter transactions in 2026 rebounded by approximately 10% year-on-year to 56 deals, showing early signs of a turnaround and stabilisation. The team highlighted that AI-driven investment has significantly boosted acquisition activities in the Information Technology (IT) sector. Furthermore, faced with high financing costs, corporates have increasingly pivoted towards flexible capital management strategies and prioritised stricter contractual and legal safeguards and due diligence to ensure asset quality.

🌊 探索元洲仔自然環境保護研究中心：海岸復育義工體驗 🏛️

在六月的炎炎夏日， 致同香港義工隊到訪世界自然基金會香港分會大埔元洲仔自然環境保護研究中心，度過了一個獲益匪淺的下午。我們首先透過專業講座了解大埔歷史、豐富的海洋物種以及海洋垃圾帶來的迫切問題，並參觀這座屹立了120年的法定古蹟，了解其節能建築設計與歷史價值。

隨後，我們親身走入紅樹林清理海岸垃圾。縱使烈日當空，同事們仍積極投入，合力收集並分類岸邊廢物，更有同事購買環保產品，以實際行動支持中心運作。

衷心感謝世界自然基金會香港分會致力推動自然保育，亦感謝同事們的汗水與付出！讓我們攜手為減少廢物及守護環境出一分力。

🌊 Learning & Volunteering for Coastal Recovery at Island House! 🏛️

On the hottest day this June, our GTHK volunteers spent an inspiring afternoon at World Wide Fund For Nature Hong Kong’s (WWF-Hong Kong) Island House Conservation Studies Centre in Yuen Chau Tsai, Tai Po. We began with an insightful session learning about the history of Tai Po, diverse marine life, and pressing issues around marine litter, followed by a tour of the 120-year-old historic heritage monument to gain insights into its unique sustainable architectural design.

We then took practical action by conducting a coastal clean-up in the mangroves. Despite the sweltering heat, our team worked tirelessly to collect and sort shoreline litter, while some colleagues further supported the Centre by purchasing WWF eco-friendly products.

A big thank you to WWF-Hong Kong for their dedication to nature conservation, and to our colleagues for their sweating efforts! Together, we are taking steps—big and small—to reduce waste generation.

In multi-party transactions, accurately identifying your role as "principal" or "agent" is vital. It dictates how revenue is reported and presented. International Financial Reporting Standard 15 (IFRS 15) remains the definitive standard for such revenue recognition.
