Galit Meyran, CEO of The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Israel), hosted a special first meeting last night (Wednesday) with Paul Atkins, Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The meeting also included representatives of the U.S. Embassy Jerusalem and senior leaders from the global financial and professional services community, including Citibank, BlackRock, HSBC, Migdal, KPMG, Deloitte,FBC & Co, and S&P Global.
The discussion enabled an open and substantive dialogue on key issues shaping todayโs capital markets, including corporate disclosure reform, improving retail investor access to private markets, crypto assets, and perspectives on investment markets in Israel.
This meaningful exchange underscored the importance of continued cooperation and direct dialogue between regulators, financial institutions, and market leaders, while further strengthening the economic ties and long-term partnership between Israel and the United States in support of resilient and dynamic global financial ecosystems.
