She found herself in every melody 🎵

This week’s hits a high note with Keziah Thomas, whose love for singing began with childhood carols and school talent shows. Over the years it has grown into something deeper: a way for her to express herself, lift her spirits and share joy with others.

“Singing has been part of my life since I was little. I first found my voice during school carol performances and local talent shows. That’s where I discovered not just joy but a sense of purpose. Watching other young performers sing with so much emotion and energy inspired me to explore my own style and sound.

Music became my outlet. It helped me turn tough days into hopeful ones and gave me space to grow. Singing songs that carry meaning lifts my spirit and lets me share that feeling with others.

There’s one moment I’ll always remember. I was at a state-level competition performing an action song with so much passion that I completely lost track of time. I didn’t win, but a woman from another group came up afterward and asked me to sing it again so she could record it and teach it to her children’s choir. That moment reminded me that the real reward in singing isn’t about medals. It’s about leaving a mark and inspiring someone else.”

Whether she’s on stage or singing in small gatherings, Keziah’s love for music continues to resonate with everyone who hears her.

I grew up in Chicago Heights, Illinois, with my parents and younger brother, Vince. My parents instilled a strong work ethic in me and believed that anything is possible with hard work and perseverance. Viewing the world through this lens has been instrumental in helping me succeed personally and professionally. They encouraged me to pursue my interests in school, sports, and learning musical instruments. Baseball was the one that really stuck over time. My experiences playing baseball over the years, up until college, taught me a lot about teamwork and trust, also providing some of the strongest friendships. I learned how to push myself to get better and work hard when nobody else was watching.

When I joined AG, the initial distinction from other jobs was the sense of community. Everyone was very welcoming and there to accomplish a singular goal. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with my brother, Vince. We’ve taken full advantage of being co-workers by discussing professional concepts, as well as partnering for back-to-back Halloween costume victories.

My prominent sources of motivation are a hunger for learning and a desire to solve complex problems. These driving forces are what brought me to AG in the first place and more recently led to my involvement with the technology side of it. I was also taught the importance of surrounding myself with good people. When I take stock of my close friends and mentors, I see many intelligent, driven, reliable people. My wife, Rebecca, is at the top of that list; she’s my biggest cheerleader and supports me in everything.

Outside of work, I spend my time at the gym, golfing, and with Rebecca and our dog, Boone. The importance of staying fit was something drilled into me over the years. I have a love/hate relationship with golf, but it’s provided yet another outlet for me to work on improving myself. Golf has also been great for exploring the greater Nashville area, where my wife and I relocated in 2022.

I look forward to seeing what opportunities and adventures lie ahead and am excited to continue growing further in my career.

'A ship is always safe at shore, but that is not what it's built for.’

Growing up, I wasn't very focused on studying. But as years passed, my perception changed. Having a good educational background and doing well in my studies was one way to prove myself. Funnily enough, I am the son of a school principal, and looking at my dad, I see the value of education. Both my sisters are school teachers too.

I have a master's degree in commerce and also cleared the Inter CA examination. Before joining AG, I had the opportunity to work in the pharmaceutical industry, Clean Energy industry, and FMCG. I've also completed three years of article ship at Parag Adhiya & Co., a Mumbai-based CA firm located in Ahmedabad. I finally joined AG a year ago, in December 2021, as an analyst.

Every organization has its own work culture, and the way one performs under pressure also differs. When I joined AG, I was immediately able to fit in so well. What I love the most about working here are transparency and a friendly atmosphere. I can approach anybody, regardless of their title or role in the organization, to discuss any issues. Our roles & responsibilities are clearly communicated to achieve certain expectations.

One of my hobbies is playing the tabla. I usually attend stage programs during the weekends with my family & friends. I can say I'm a proud student of Rajan Shukla, my music teacher. I am inspired by everyone I meet, but my biggest inspiration is my parents. I witnessed their way of life and learned much from it. For instance, you should knock down the first thing that makes you uncomfortable. It's what I observed from my father's life. My mother taught my sisters & me to be true to ourselves and has always been very supportive. She gave up her government job to care for us and ensured that we had a lovely childhood. I got married in 2021, and my wife has been my biggest supporter ever since.

I want to lead a team of 80 people in the future. Perhaps in the next seven years? Because, after all, the only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

We are a family of four. My mother is a homemaker. My wife has completed her MCA degree and is working as an SEO and Digital Marketing consultant. My father worked at the Central Government Provident Fund Department before retiring.

Born and brought up in Ahmedabad, after schooling, I pursued my graduation along with my CA. I have completed my Master of Commerce degree. After completing my Integrated Professional Competence (IPC) Course in CA, I worked for 3 years in an articleship at Prahalad L Patel & Co in their auditing, accounting, and taxation department.

I have worked at Befree, Gandhinagar as an Assistant Manager, taking care of accounting, auditing, and taxation for Australian clients. I joined AG after that. Here, I have witnessed an amazing work culture. AG’s mission, vision and core values are not just on paper, but I have experienced them. These principles are fundamental to us. The next thing is how transparent the organization is. Everyone is friendly and accessible. I have got great support from my Manager and Leadership team to help me grow. We work here as a family. In fact, we've had interviewees tell us they want to join AG only because of our culture.

I love working at AG because it aligns with my values. I understand the importance of staying focused and positive and why we need to ignore negativity. When you surround yourself with positivity, you become positive as a person. My father says, "Never do wrong to others. Always follow ethics and do good. Don't focus on the negative side of things.” I am grateful to my father because of whom I have been on such a wonderful journey of my life.

My wife is my personal adviser as she knows my strengths and weakness very well. She has always helped me take the right decisions and supports me in what I do. I am very thankful to her.

I'm religious as a person, and I like to read spiritual books. I also love playing and watching cricket. I want to grow as a person and keep learning constantly. I will mold myself according to new situations and dynamic environments.

I am born in Sagwara, a small city in Rajasthan, where I have done my schooling in Hindi medium. After finishing school, I came to Ahmedabad for higher studies. I have an elder sister who's married. My sister and brother-in-law, have always supported me through every unexpected life turn.

Last year they were blessed with a baby girl, Ghanvi, who is the center of our universe. I'd promised my sister that before Ghanvi's birth, I would complete my Certified Management Accountant course, and find a good job. I made everything happen as promised.

My father is a carpenter by profession, and my mother is a school teacher and homemaker. My parents are my role models. My father lives and works in Kuwait and has been there for the last 13 years. He only visits home once a year, and I cherish every moment he is with us. My mother is a valiant warrior, managing everything at home, all by herself.

I'm an Account Associate at AG, which is a dream workplace.

I was a fresher when I joined AG, but the support and guidance I received from my seniors & managers have been very helpful. Three months ago, I'd met with a bike accident and was incapacitated. During that period, the support I received from AG team members was tremendous. I am proud and glad to be a part of the AG family.

Before joining AG, I worked as an article assistant in a Mid-sized CA firm. They followed traditional practices. However, at AG, I saw a completely different scenario. There are many training sessions to guide you and team-building exercises to help you get to know team members, learn from each other, and share experiences.

I am an absolute weeb. I love to watch Japanese animations, and my favorite web series is Naruto. I also love to play cricket. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is my favorite cricketer. I love to travel and explore new places. My dream destination is Norway.

In the near future, I see myself as a Senior Associate in an Accounting and finance role, in which I will be given more responsibilities and accountability towards work along with building great team connections.

I believe in hard work and that it always pays.

My dad was a judge, and my mom was a painter. They worked hard throughout their lives to ensure we never missed out on opportunities. I enjoy immersing myself in a field of study and when I do, I stay loyal and committed.

Born and raised in Cedar Falls, IA, I went to college at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. I moved to Chicago after graduating in 2007 with a double major in accounting and finance. I have one younger brother who lives in Waterloo, IA, with his wife. My parents also live in Waterloo, IA.

I have worked in public accounting for 3 ½ years with PwC and Northern Trust and was a controller at a small non-profit for 5 ½ years before coming to AG.

On weekends, I hang out with my partner Liz, along with our kids and dog. I like to play poker and chess. I enjoy walking our dog, playing golf and disc golf, playing basketball, going to concerts, and watching soccer (Everton fan!).

The one thing that motivates me most in life is setting long-term goals and working towards those goals. I have tried various roles throughout my career, but I enjoy the client service aspect of AG. I see myself in a similar line of work a few years from where I am right now. I enjoy this line of work, and I see myself doing this for the foreseeable future.

I have been with AG since March 2022, and I am working as a senior manager. I started with Pod lead responsibilities, which entailed elements of delivery and ex*****on management along with people management for several clients. I transitioned into a portfolio lead role that involved higher-level admin work and continued work with our clients.

I love AG’s laid-back culture that’s not buttoned up and formal. I appreciate AG’s focus on its team members and how they go the extra mile to put their people above everything and everyone else. In the corporate world, that’s a delicate balance, something you don’t see even in the big four accounting firms, but at AG, they’ve maintained it perfectly.

I come from a small village in Saurashtra, Chotila Taluka where my wife, mother, father, and brother stay. My family is involved in farming. We have several agricultural and farm lands.

As a child, studies never motivated me; I was an average student. However, when I moved to Kalol for higher studies in commerce, I stayed in a hostel, where I understood the value of education. From then, I became a sincere student. I was very motivated towards my studies, and two of my best subjects were Accounting and Economics.

After my graduation, I joined CA. CA is a challenging course. Initially I found it difficult, but gradually I became more confident. I knew the CA course required a lot of money, which worried me. But my father, my pillar of strength, stood by me and told me to keep moving forward. He arranged everything and asked me to focus on my studies.

I have learned so many things in my journey to become a CA, and finally, when I passed the course within 5.5 years, I thank my parents’ perseverance, hard work, and determination to have made it possible for me. While doing the CA course, it was not just me who was studying; my parents also worked hard for me, helping me reach my goal.

For me, success is not a one-time thing. It is a continuous effort. Working on yourself and your goals requires constant effort.

My father has always told me when one door closes, another will open. I take his words very seriously. I was upset when I could not pass my CA exams on my first attempt. But my parents kept pushing me. I have one brother and one elder sister. My brother has just got into government service, and my sister is married.

I am an analyst at AG. I joined this organization, but left and joined another company. However, I could not utilize my skills to the fullest there and I returned to AG. Another reason I came back to AG is our people and culture. There is so much compassion and passion.

A few years from today, I want to take my skills to the next level, enhance them and share my knowledge and expertise across the organization I am a part of.
