GST rate reduced from previous 5,12,18,28 % to now 5, 18, 40 %. Applicable from 22/09/2025.
Wait for the gazetted notification. Still 3 rates (5,18 & 40%) are available and separate rate for Gold, Silver and diamonds etc. So technically they reduces only one rate of GST.
Note down the prices of the product today and compare it with prices of product after 2/3 months. We will u der stand that prices are really goes down or remain same or increased.

Recent announcement to decrease the interest rate on PPF account of a minor should be reviewed. Accountholders should be given an exit option from PPF if the interest rate is going to decrease. Parents are investing in PPF for better future at a fixed rate for a long 15 years and more. If the interest is it to given at lower rate, then an exit option should be given so that parents can use this money in other better investment options.
