Mother-daughter trips are different. ❤️
For me, as a mother, these trips are a bit of a stress buster.
And I feel I get to know my daughter a little better every time we travel together.
When you’re travelling together, you can sometimes be less of a mother and more of a friend.
You talk about things differently. You understand each other better.
And then I look at it from Gurbani’s side.
For her, I think it’s more like *me time*
There are so many things you can’t always talk about when the whole family is around. On our trips, we end up talking about all of that.
We share our stuff too. Makeup, clothes, shoes, shopping... everything. 😄
Sometimes it’s a serious conversation, sometimes it’s complete nonsense.
But that’s what I love about these trips.
We’re not just travelling together.
We’re getting to know each other, as a mother and daughter, but also a little bit as friends.
And I think that’s the best part.
Because someday, I know I’ll remember the time we spent together much more than the places we visited. ❤️
