Sorry state of affairs when it comes to funding entrepreneurs:

Only 5.2% MSME units have access to any kind of institutional finance.

The response to know more about collateral free loan has been quiet tremendous.Many budding entrepreneurs need around Rs 20-lac to Rs 50 Lac for thier project.Large number of them don't have a collateral/guarantee to offer.Good news is CGTMSE scheme by Govt of India and SIDBI promises to provide COLLATERAL FREE loan upto Rs 100 Lacs subject to profitability , sustainability and others terms and conditions.

Many budding entrepreneurs i come across just need between Rs 2 Lac to Rs 10 Lac for thier start-up business.Many of them haven't heard of Collateral Free Loan schem b(CGTMSE).Though Credit Guarantee for MSEs have been made more use friendly recently, most banks continue to discourage borrowers from taking the guarantee cover. Their preference remains collateral security.
