Difficulty faced by small establishments and individual professionals to scale up/move up the value chain for want of network/ecosystem. Restriction of High value/complex deals to established larger institutions/networked professionals, which make this a cosy club. Lack of awareness and flow of information, which is an impediment to a free market and prevents optimal solution to the end customer. Markets are thus inefficient, with a high premium to networking (rather than skill) and consequently barriers to entry for smaller establishments & higher cost to the customer.
