Being social ,strengthening the bonds and Relationships ...is foundation of Indian Culture.🎊

And thus the siblings ( Bro and Sis) have been blessed with, if not many , atleast two specific days

When they would automatically or mandatorily meet

And relish the moments ,cementing the bonds as well :

"Raksha bandhan and Bhai Dauj." 💝

This pious relation is with a spectrum🌈 of colors :

For a sis her bro is a friend, a guide , a supporter, a motivator, a trouble shooter, a gaurd , a caretaker and what not....

& it's vice versa.

The Kuchhe Dhage of Rakhi are stronger than steal & the promise given of "Protection and Security" is what makes

This Festival and the relationship Unique & Cherishing. 🎉

So while the Sis proudly and happily declares :

"Mere Bhaiyya mere chanda mere anmol ratan,tere badle mai zamane ki koi cheez na lu"

The Bro gladly replies:

"Phoolon ka taaron ka saka kahna hai,Ek hazaron me meri behna hai..Saari umar hame sang rahna hai"

Let all Bothers and sisters relish this loving ,emotional relationship forever.🫂

🫂 "JADU KI JHAPPI"🫂

Growing old 👴by numbers is natural..But growing old by Spirit is a choice.✌️

On this"World Senior Citizens Day" , let's owe our gratitude to all those Seniors in our Life 🙏:

Our parents,our teachers, our relatives ...

For all that help,care, backing, assistance and support ☔
that they have bestowed on us ...

With their "tackling with experience" art & making Life easier for us.

You can beat ,their compromised health , their wrinkled face , their moulded back ,their energy levels...⚕️

But you can't surely beat the tons of experience that they own. 👍

They may or may not be wealthy by coins but are definitly Rich by experience.✔️

How sad: Turn Sixty and they are "parked" in a shell.

Can we utilise this immense wealth (of rich experience) available with us❓

What best can we offer them as a "Return gift" ...💝

For the immense number of gifts (sevices) they have rendered to the society?

If not more....

✌️From DNF to SILVER✌️:

Do Circumstances Count?

When Meera Bai Chanu created history by winning A Silver medal 🥈in women's Weightlifting🏋️ in Tokyo Olympics 2020....

She just re iterated that Success comes with a set of principles:

1.From "Did Not Finish"(DNF), in all 3 attempts in Rio Olympics 2016 to a Silver medalist in Tokyo Olympics 2020....

"Focus, Self belief and die hard attitude pays.No race is Won until it's Finished."🏁

2.Meera comes from a poor family of a remote Manipur village.....

"Your background and circumstances do not count...your attitude does."👍

3.Lifting the weight of Failure and transforming it into a ladder to Success.🪜

What not she should have faced after that defeat ...

Mockery from people,depression,consulting a psychiatrist, preparing for training camp after a gap...

In fact she has proved her name right....

Like Meera Bai in Krishna Bhakti, Meera Chanu in her cause both passionately dedicated & ultimately got Prasadam🥈

4. Finally ,one more lesson..

"Learn from mistakes and frame a game plan within your limits."🎲

While in Rio she tried more than what she could lift.Here in Tokyo,her Chinese competitor lifted 210kg.

Meera did not madly chased her,but knowing her potential, tried 202kg and won the Silver.

Kudos to Meera Chanu...for the lessons she has taught us in her victory and bringing Pride to the country. 🇮🇳

Let's hope this is just a beginning, lots of Happy momments are yet to follow in this" Khel Mahakumbh".🌐

🙏🙏Guru Purnima 🙏🙏

An auspicious day when we often remember these two verses :

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरा
गुरुर्साक्षात परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः 🙏

And

गुरू गोविन्द दोऊ खड़े, काके लागूं पांय।
बलिहारी गुरू अपने गोविन्द दियो बताय।।

The word Guru literary means :Gu means darkness and Ru means light: A Guide that takes us from darkness (of ignorance) to enlightenment (of awareness).☀️

The Mentor mentee relationship tradition(Guru shishya parampara) is age old in Indian Culture and civilisation.👨‍🏫

Starting from Bhagwan Ram going to Guru Vashishth, Krishna to Guru Sandipani
Arjun went to Dronacharya & Chandragupta to Chanakya.

To the modern times Sachin to Ramakant achrekar

Anand sir of super 30
& So on.

A Guru is like a candlestick🕯️...burns and melts to enlighten others.💡

And brings about two major transformations:

*Polishing what you know.

*Making aware of : "You don't know what you don't know "
& then again step 1.

It's only a Guru ,who cuts, polishes and gives finishing touch to a rough stone(a raw mentee) to turn it into a precious one(enlightened mentee).⭐

Imagine Arjuna without Krishna in Mahabharat or Hanuman without Ram in Ramayan.

It's a Guru who gives real meaning ,a wholesomeness and a Completeness to Life.⭕

We are not the Jack of all Skills.🤹‍♂️

The New concept is to do what you are expert in and the rest... outsource.👨‍🏫

There is a big chunk of expertise available who would do a better and finer work than you at a nominal cost..pay that price don't hold on. 👍

Three persons can do stiching... a tailor a cobbler and a surgeon...and of course the fourth choice is always open ie you.👨‍⚕️

Now if there is Head injury who would you select among these four and why?⚕️

This concept of outsourcing is well explained in two Hindi proverbs:

कौवा चला हंस🦆 की चाल तो अपनी चाल भी भुला.🤔

(in an act of over smartness when a crow tries to copy a swan's walk it forgets its own)

(Any work suits a particular specialist and if done by a layman,he has to pay a price)

The debate whether the Bank FDs are a prudent investment tool or not continues.💰

Change is the order of the day.🔃

The older generation continue to transform the Pseudo "SAFETY " & Guaranty concept of FDs to the newer generations.❎

Are you still using a typewriter or a landline phone or a bicycle/ scooter or a pager?❎

When you have completely transformed from these to better alternatives...
Then when why struck up with the bank FD concept?🧐

Specially when you have so many smarter choices Viz Mutual funds, art,precious metals etc (people are even risking with the crypto currency)🥰

Tax Rate : 30%
Post tax nominal returns rate: 3.85%
Inflation rate: 7%

This is the "Gauranteed Returns" which all Indians are getting.
We have currently 450L Cr in FDs in India .That means 5L Cr worth wealth is destroyed every year. 🥱
