Anand Isher Senior Secondary Public School is run under the auspices of Anand Isher Educational Charitable Trust. The school was founded by Sant Baba Amar Singh Ji in 1979. It is named after the two founders saints of Nanaksar-Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji and Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Kaleranwale). It is an english medium co educational school catering to students from Nursery to Class XII (Medical, No
n Medical & Commerce). The school is now affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The school has over the years achieved commendable results both in the fields of academics and sports. Encouraged by parents especially of girls students, the school decided to open a Senior Secondary Classes. Two classes of science : medical and non medical were started in 1995. Goods students who used to seek seats in Ludhiana or Chandigarh opted to remain in Anand Isher Senior Secondary Public School. Encouraged by the good board results of class XII, the school opened a commerce stream in 1997. With the able guidance and teaching of our competent, well qualified and experienced staff members the school has been achieving its goal of giving a good all round comprehensive education to the students of near and far-flung villages. The medical and Non Medical students have gone on to become doctors, dentists, engineers and pilots. The commerce wing students have comeup as lawyers, bank officers and charted accountants. The school comgratulates Jyoti Singla (04) and Deepak Kumar (02) who recently qualified as charted accountants. The school makes no distinction between caste, creed or religion and this is reflected in the ethos and philosophy of the school. The school is totally secular in nature and makes no distinction in the admission and in the appointments of students and teachers. AISSPS gets its support from Guru Nanak Senior Secondary V.A. School which was established by Sant Baba Amar Singh in Hayes, London in 1993.
