India stocks fall, Edelweiss global wealth president says that he is not a fan of small & mid caps right now. But I differ from his views due to the fact that small & mid caps have corrected very sharply already and some very high quality small & mid caps are currently available for dirt cheap.

A very good opportunity exists currently for any investor be it retail or institutional to form a pure equity portfolio of small & mid-cap stocks right now. Of course, the minimum time horizon has to be 3 to 5 years holding period.

Aggressive investors have a great opportunity as well right now. I can see at least 40 to 60 undervalued companies in india that are trading at 50% discount to their intrinsic value.

No matter what happens to the index level, no matter how many recessions come along or for how long, in the long run, as the profits of the businesses you own in your portfolio rise, the stock will follow.

It is one of those times where we are all reminded of the things we already know. Brokerage houses have forever been biased in their treatment of clients and have not had the highest standards of fuduciary responsibility towards their smaller clients.

Kotak group needs to understand that WHEN IT COMES TO INVESTING AND MONEY, they cannot try and be on both sides of the fence.

This is the reason you should never take a brokerage report seriously. Ive seen many reports like this in the past. Its just that since its kotak this time, its getting blown up.

Folks, Real estate in most cases is never as good as an investment as stocks. There are several disadvantages to real estate as compare to owning businesses.

In this video, I explain some of the pitfalls of investing in real estate and also explain the nuances of being a real estate investor vs being a stock holder.

Most retail buyers of real estate will never multiply wealth over long periods of time owning real estate they bought through agents or builders! The only way to success in the real estate business is through value investing but value deals in real estate are significantly fewer than value investments in stocks.
