The "Forest Ecosystem Valuation Study (FEVS): Indonesia” Report was launched in Jakarta on July 8, 2015 by UNORCID-Indonesia
The study was undertaken by UNORCID with funding support from the United Nations Environment Protection Programme (UNEP). The FEVS report demonstrates the results and analysis of the multiple benefits provided by forest related ecosystem services for Indonesia’s economy and the impact it has on the livelihoods of the rural communities.
Our CEO and the study leader for the FEVS - Indonesia - Pavan Sukhdev, explained the need for conservation of forests and protection of livelihoods of those people who are directly linked to these forests in his presentation during the launch.
He also highlighted the importance of this study report and its role in supporting Indonesia's transition towards a Green economy.
