🎉 Celebrating CA Day - 75 Years of Excellence and Trust! 🎉
On July 1st, 2023, CA Day, we gathered at the Shivaji Park CPE Study Circle of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI to celebrate our 75th year of excellence and trust. To commemorate this significant milestone, we organized a lecture on the key changes and amendments relevant to filing ITR for the assessment Year 2023-24 and common issues in filing returns.
The event, held on July 1st from 5 pm to 8 pm, was attended by a grand assembly of over 100 esteemed Chartered Accountants who are members of the Shivaji Park CPE Study Circle. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and anticipation as our fellow Chartered Accountants came together to celebrate this special occasion.
To commence the CA Day event, the Convenor Akshay Tambe delivered a warm welcome address. Following the welcome address, we had the privilege to light the lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment and guidance we seek as professionals. The lamp was jointly lit by Founder member and past Convenor CA Shashikant Desai Sir, CA Suhas Niphadkar Sir, Speaker CA Shashank Mehta ,Present Convenor Akshay Tambe, and myself as the Deputy Convenor. This act of unity and camaraderie among fellow Chartered Accountants further emphasized the strong bond we share as members of the Study Circle.
After the lamp lighting ceremony, the inspiring notes of the ICAI motto song 'य एष सुप्तेषु जागर्ति' (Ya Esha Supteshu Jagruti) filled the hall. In a gesture of reverence, all the members present stood up, embodying the values and principles of our profession. This powerful moment symbolized our shared commitment to upholding excellence and integrity in our work.
After the uplifting rendition of the ICAI motto song, we presented CA Shashank Mehta with a well-deserved memento and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The memento was awarded to him by our member and Immediate past Convenor CA Sachin Phadke.
Following this powerful moment, our esteemed speaker, CA Shashank Mehta , took the stage and delivered an enlightening lecture that captivated the audience. His vast knowledge and expertise in the subject matter were truly commendable, and we were grateful for the valuable insights he shared.
As the lecture drew to a close, it was my honor to deliver the vote of thanks on behalf of the Shivaji Park CPE Study Circle. We expressed our deepest gratitude to CA Shashank Mehta for his invaluable contribution and for accepting our invitation on short notice. We also extended our appreciation to all the attendees, who are fellow Chartered Accountants and members of the Study Circle, for their presence and active participation, which made the event a resounding success.
