*GST UPDATE*

Important reccomendations by 45th GST Council Meeting related to GST law and procedure👇🏻

1) Unutilized cash balance in CGST and IGST cash ledger may be allowed to be transferred to different GST number bearing same PAN.

2) From 01.01.2021 date of debit note shall be considered for allowing credit to be claimed by recipient and not the date of original invoice

3) Late fees of GSTR-1 to be auto-populated in succeeding GSTR 3B return

4) If GSTR 3B not furnished then GSTR 1 will also not be allowed to be filed for succeeding month.

GST rate changes proposal

1) Packaging boxes made of paper - 18%

2) Paper goods like cards catalogue, printed material- 18%

3) Certain printing and reproduction services - 18%

4) E commerce services related to delivery of food - 5% without ITC

5) Batteries sold along with UPS/Invertor -28% on both and Invertor alone would attract 18%

6) Cloud Kitchen services -
5% without ITC

7) Sale of already manufactured ice cream by ice cream parlour -18%
