Had the opportunity to attend an insightful interaction session with Mr. Vishal Kapoor, CEO of Bandhan Mutual Fund.

Some key takeaways from the discussion:

• Recent market correction has largely been driven by FII outflows, as global investors have been chasing the AI-led growth story across international markets.

• In the current environment, where inflation remains a concern, governments have limited easy options. Reducing expenditure or increasing taxes can be politically and economically challenging. Therefore, interest rate cuts remain the most practical tool to support Real GDP growth.

• Near-term market direction remains heavily dependent on geopolitical developments and ongoing war-related uncertainties.

• From a medium-term perspective, valuations appear attractive. With the global AI theme showing signs of peaking, better risk-reward opportunities are emerging in sectors such as:
