DEDICATION ...
We talk about Dedication like it's a one-way street.
It's not.

Every time we hear the word "Dedication," our mind automatically jumps to — the employee. The one who works late. The one who goes the extra mile. The one who never says no.

But here's the question nobody asks — What about the employer?

If your employer isn't dedicated to you —

No psychological safety → No risk-taking or innovation
No trust → No transparency, only politics
No care → No loyalty, only survival mode
No growth opportunity → No motivation, just clocking in
When I don't feel safe, seen, or valued at work — my energy doesn't disappear. It just goes somewhere else. Away from your goals.

But when an employer is genuinely dedicated — listens, supports, and invests in their people — something remarkable happens. Employees don't just work. They care. They protect the organisation like it's their own.

The real equation:

Dedicated employer → Comfortable employee → High performance → Thriving workplace

Neglectful employer → Anxious employee → Survival mode → Toxic culture

Leadership is not just a title. It's a commitment. And commitment — is just another word for dedication.

So before you expect dedication from your team — ask yourself: Am I dedicated to them?
