Popular quick-commerce site Zepto recently came under fire for notifying a female customer, Pallavi Pareek, in an improper manner. "I miss you, Pallavi, says I-pill Emergency Contraceptive pill," the message said, making reference to an emergency contraception.

Pallavi said on LinkedIn, "I've never ordered this product from you," expressing her frustration. It's not fair to make me feel as like I'm "missing" anything, even if I had. Additionally, she questioned the message's underlying purpose, asking, "Do you want me to need an emergency contraceptive?

Pallavi expressed her appreciation for the app itself, but she took issue with the messaging's lack of tact, claiming that it went too far. Sentence should be sensible, funny, or reasonable.

Zepto apologized in response, admitting that the notification was "thoughtless and potentially harmful." Customers were reassured by the corporation that it had acted quickly to resolve the problem and enhance its procedures.

Carl Zeiss India, the Indian subsidiary of the renowned German optics and opto-electronics company Carl Zeiss, has announced plans to begin lens production in India by June 2025.
The company has secured 35 acres of land from the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board for this purpose and is investing Rs 2,500 crore to establish a state-of-the-art lens manufacturing facility.
