A vacancy for a Sales Manager exists for a logistic service company in Amman. The ideal candidate will be a female residing in Amman. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.
Minimum Requirements:
• MUST be Female
• Must have business development skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Must own a car
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a sales environment
Duties include:
• Conduct proactive and consistent targeted sales calls/visits to existing and new customers
• Quote external customers ensuring due diligence and following up on orders
• Achieve retail parts, revenue and gross margin sales budgets
• Actively interact with necessary technical, commercial and sales personnel in order to ensure that quotations are accurate and that client receives excellent service

About the job role :
1. Handle daily workload including (attend to calls and work emails, work on new requests, and accepts work assignment allocated by the outbound travel manager, in addition to also assist other departments within the company to create and book travel related services ( Hotels, transfers, sightseeing’s, holidays, and tours )under the scope of the outbound travel department.

2. In-depth understanding in terms of, interests and requirements, for the corporate, FITs, groups and assigned travel requests from clients and other company departments.

3. Establish clear, detailed and thorough travel and holiday requests from clients

4. Researching the best options to meet and exceed the travel requirements of the clients

5. Always go above and beyond on clients requests, and offer the best services and through quotations

6. Proactively offering tailored travel and holiday suggestions to clients to maximize the value they get from the services, and to always act on the best company interest to maxims profitability and generate excellent sales figures

7. Excellent knowledge on how to utilize the various online booking platforms and software

Summary of the job role :
• Answer email inquiries in a timely manner.
• Determine Guest’s needs and quote the appropriate room rate, tours, and transfers as per requirements.
• Book reservation with accurate information to ensure we exceed Guest’s expectations.
• Book and enter room reservation requests using the company System.
• Arrange accommodation, visas and activity requirements for leisure, corporate Guests
• Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure highest level of Guest service is maintained and the maximum profit is generated.
• Checking on the availability of accommodations or transportation on a traveler's desired travel dates.
• Selling add-on travel products, such as tours.
• Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.
• Negotiate with our suppliers to get the best competitive deals and special rates.
• Check daily arrival and departure and in-house guests in hotels and try to sell our products.
• Outdoor duties to check groups during the tours, events, meetings on site.

Online reservation system / Extranet experience to do:
• Manage Rooms availability, number of rooms and dates available to book.
• Change Rates, Increase or reduce the rates day by day or a period of date
• View all confirmed, Modified and Cancelled bookings
• Adding Special offers of hotels.
• Handle Offers, like Early bird, free nights, special discount, room upgrade, long stay, discount rates etc...
