AVOID TRADING WITH A DEMO ACCOUNT
I remind all my students that trading with real money is 100 times better than using a Demo account. It is a great way to practise, however over the years I have come to understand why its not the best.
Here are my top 5 reasons why:
1. **Emotional Discipline:** Real money trading invokes emotions such as fear and greed, which are crucial to manage in the financial markets. Trading with real money helps traders develop emotional discipline and psychological resilience, essential traits for successful trading.
2. **True Market Experience:** Real money trading provides authentic market experience, including factors like slippage, liquidity issues, and order ex*****on delays, which are not accurately simulated in demo accounts. Dealing with these real-world challenges helps traders adapt and learn to navigate the complexities of live trading.
