- IDF (2.5%) & RDL (2%): Exempt
- Scope: All passenger and cargo aircraft above 2,000kg

2. Aircraft Spare Parts & Components
- VAT (16%): Exempt
- IDF (2.5%) & RDL (2%): Exempt
- Scope: Maintenance/repair parts imported by licensed operators with KCAA recommendation

3. Light Aircraft & Private Helicopters (

UPDATE: Government will begin tracking every business transaction in real time starting July 1, 2026, under a sweeping new digital tax crackdown

The KRA will deploy expanded electronic invoicing, enhanced point-of-sale integration, and a new e-Customs mobile app to monitor transactions instantly.

These systems aim to boost tax compliance and revenue collection.

Business owners should expect seamless but intrusive monitoring as KRA moves to capture every sale, invoice, and transaction. The July 1 deadline leaves little time for last-minute adjustments to their record-keeping.
