In 2011 he turned it into a partnership and rebranded the firm as Ace Associates- Certified Public Accountants (Audit services) and at the same time set up Ace Consultants Limited (accountancy support services, Internal Audit and Risk consulting services, Financial Advisory and Management services) and Ace Taxation Services Limited (Tax compliance, planning and advisory services) to offer specialised services to businesses. CPA Ahmed M.Y. Salyani is the Senior Partner in Ace Group. He is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya CPA (K) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has over 18 years of audit, accounting, taxation and business financial advisory experience in both professional firms and industry. Among the firms he has worked with before branching out in practice are PKF Kenya where he was Supervisor Audit and Tax and Group Financial Controller at Ameeco Group of Companies. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Corporate Treasurers, Institute of Professional Financial Managers, Institute of Financial Accountants and an accredited Member of the Canadian Guild of Industrial Commercial and Institutional Accountants. Mohamed graduated from the University of Manchester's prestigious Manchester Business School - MBA (Finance). He read and passed modules on Managerial Economics, Marketing Strategy, Corporate Risk Management, Management & Organisational Behaviour, Treasury, Foreign exchange & Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, Ethics Governance and Competition Policy and Strategic Management. His dissertation was on Risk Management in Islamic Financial Institutions. Mohamed’s has worked for over 18 years with firms in Kenya (Ernst & Young – Supervisor Assurance Advisory Business Services and PKF Kenya Audit Senior), United Arab Emirates (Group Financial Controller Credo Investments FZE) and Canada (World Financial Group and MacTavish & Company CGA’s)
