The Department of the Registrar of Companies (eROC) has revised its statutory fees and administrative charges, 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝟔 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Accordingly, the 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐬 applicable to company incorporation and company secretarial services have 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝.

These revised charges are imposed by the Registrar of Companies and will apply to all relevant services.

🚨 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 11 of 2026, effective 3 June 2026, introduces stricter enforcement against income tax non-compliance.

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) may initiate legal action against taxpayers who fail to:
• 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐑𝐃 (𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝)
• 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬
• 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐇𝐓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬

If found guilty, the penalties may include:
• A fine of up to 𝐑𝐬. 𝟒𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎
• Imprisonment for up to 𝟔 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬
• Or both

📩 Before any prosecution, the 𝐈𝐑𝐃 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, giving you 30 days to rectify the non-compliance. Responding promptly to IRD notices is essential.

✅ If you only have a TIN and do not have an income tax liability, you are not currently the focus of these enforcement measures. You may also request your regional IRD office to close your income tax file, if applicable.

Many people are being misled by unauthorized individuals or freelancers who promise quick Income Statements and P&L reports for visas.

These individuals have 𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬—they simply get a “friend” who is a Chartered Accountant to sign their work.

Why this is a huge danger for you:
