An insightful discussion with the street vendor community in Matara as part of a collaborative research initiative led by Prof. Donella Caspersz from the University of Western Australia, in partnership with Prof. A.C. Karunaratna from the University of Ruhuna. The Small Enterprises Development Division also participated in this visit, adding their expertise to the conversation.
This engagement provided valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities faced by street vendors, contributing to our ongoing efforts to understand and support their role in the local economy.
