At Emjay, we believe that protecting our water resources goes hand in hand, with ensuring communities have access to safe and reliable water. Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond environmental stewardship to creating meaningful change where it matters most.
Through our Athwela Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, we continue to invest in water and sanitation projects that help build healthier, safer and more sustainable learning environments for children.
As part of this ongoing commitment, we were honoured to donate a water storage tank to K/W Doragamuwa Maha Vidyalaya, Pallethalawinna, Kandy, located just 09 km from our Pallethalawinna Factory. The school serves 270 students, including 23 children of our own employees, making this initiative especially meaningful as it benefits both the local community and the Emjay family.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Arpico, for their continued support and partnership in helping us strengthen our CSR initiatives and create a positive impact within the communities we serve.
