🇲🇾 Prime Minister’s Latest Announcement|6 Key Measures You Should Know!
Prime Minister Anwar has announced 6 new measures covering SMEs, e-Invoice, healthcare, education, youth AI initiatives, micro businesses and fuel subsidies.
👀 The key update for businesses:
✅ e-Invoice Threshold Increased!
RM1 million ➜ RM3 million
Businesses with annual revenue below RM3 million may be exempted from mandatory e-Invoice implementation, subject to the latest HASiL requirements.
📌 An estimated 1.1 million businesses may benefit!
Here are the other key measures:
🔹 Public Healthcare Service Upgraded
RM1 billion allocated to upgrade Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and WiFi, covering 150 hospitals and 2,000 government clinics.
🔹 School Maintenance Allocation
Funding increased to RM1.5 billion in 2027.
🔹 Free AI Subscription for Youth
Young Malaysians aged 18–30 who complete designated learning modules may receive 3 months of free AI tool subscriptions, with an initial target of 100,000 participants.

⚠️ But here’s the important part!
Having annual revenue below RM3 million does NOT automatically mean your business is exempt from e-Invoice.
Your business structure, shareholders, holding company, related companies or joint ventures may still affect your eligibility.
👉 Don’t stop your e-Invoice implementation based on revenue alone!
Make sure your business meets the latest HASiL requirements first.
