[Alert] We would like to caution members of the public on bogus emails using the Bank Negara Malaysia's name which purportedly says that the recipient is eligible for a tax refund. The recipient is then required to click and download an attachment.

We would like to inform that tax is not under Bank Negara Malaysia's purview.

Members of the public are reminded to ignore such emails and not to click or download the attachment. The link in these emails may contain malware!
