📢 Latest Update on Malaysia’s E-Invoice Implementation Timeline (As of 5 June 2025)

The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has just announced a revised rollout timeline for the mandatory e-Invoice implementation across all businesses in Malaysia. Here’s what you need to know:

✅ 1 August 2024 – Mandatory for businesses with annual turnover above RM100 million
✅ 1 January 2025 – Mandatory for businesses with annual turnover between RM25 million and RM100 million
🆕 1 July 2025 – Mandatory for businesses with annual turnover between RM5 million and RM25 million
🆕 1 January 2026 - Mandatory for businesses with annual turnover between RM1 million and RM5 million
🆕 1 July 2026 – Mandatory for businesses with annual turnover between RM500,000 and RM1 million

‼️Exempted – Businesses with annual turnover below RM500,000 are currently exempted from e-Invoicing implementation.
