Since there are so many UTMCs providing funds in Malaysia, why we always focus on building a portfolio within a UTMC? What is the issue? It is because your agent/consultant can only provide the funds that he represents for that company. Do you know you can build a portfolio by investing in different funds from different UTMCs AND without the costly commission? That’s what I call Diversification. Do you know the RETURNS shown on fund prospectus or leaflet USUALLY not taking the commission (sales charge) into calculation? Then, how do you know the net return of the funds?

Financial planning isn't just about investment. It's more important to plan rather than keep trying to make a lot of money. As there won't be an end to it if you don't know where exactly what you want to go and how much you need to meet your goals.

Many say they have their plans. However, after asking further, it isn't a comprehensive one to coordinates all the elements which have impact to one another when an event occurs.
