🚨 New SOCSO Rule: 24-Hour Coverage Outside Work Starting June 2026! 🚨

Big changes are here! Starting June 2026, SOCSO is introducing a new 24-hour protection plan for non-work accidents (like home injuries or weekend accidents).

Key Points:

👤 Who pays? Employees pay 100% of this premium. Employers must deduct it from your salary.

📈 How much? It starts at 0.75% of your salary for the first 2 years, capping at a max RM6,000 salary limit.

❌ What’s NOT covered? It does not cover workplace accidents (those are already covered by existing SOCSO rules).

Self-employed people are also excluded.

⚠️ For Employers: You have a 6-month grace period to comply. Failing to deduct this fee later can lead to a fine up to RM10,000 or up to 2 years in jail.

🚨 社险新规：6月起落实24小时非职场意外保障！🚨

大马员工与雇主请注意！从2026年6月起，社险（SOCSO）推出全新计划，保障员工在工作时间以外发生的意外（如居家意外、假期出游受伤等）。

核心重点：
👤 谁来出钱？ 保费由 员工100%全额承担，雇主每个月直接从薪水里扣除。

📈 扣多少？ 首两年扣除薪资的 0.75%，薪资顶限为 RM6,000（超过也按 RM6,000 顶限计算）。

❌ 什么不保？ 不包括职场内发生的意外（这部分已有传统工伤保险保障）。自雇人士也不包含在内。

⚠️ 雇主注意： 政府给予6个月宽限期。之后若未依法扣缴，雇主最高可被罚款1万令吉或监禁2年。
