24 people went for a KFC job interview.

23 were hired.

Only one person was rejected.

That person was Jack Ma.

And KFC wasn’t his only rejection.

Jack Ma has shared that he applied for around 30 jobs and was rejected again and again.

But he didn’t stop.

He kept learning, kept trying, and eventually became an English teacher.

Later, he discovered the Internet and saw an opportunity that many people couldn’t see at the time.

A few years later, he founded Alibaba.

Think about it:

The man KFC didn’t want eventually built a company known around the world.

That’s also something I believe when it comes to hiring.

Experience matters.

But sometimes…

Attitude.
Willingness to learn.
And the courage to try.

Matter even more.

And yes — we’re hiring! 🔥

If you may not have the strongest experience yet, but you’re willing to learn, grow and challenge yourself in Sales, we’d love to hear from you.

📩 PM me for more information.

I’m Max Ma. See you in the next video.

Recently, I came across a news report about 29 local artistes who were declared bankrupt due to debt issues.

The first thing many people may think is:

“Aren’t celebrities earning a lot? How can they go bankrupt?”

But if you think about it, artistes are actually quite similar to business owners.

They don’t have a fixed monthly income.

When there are advertisements, shows, events or projects, their income can be very good.

But when there are no jobs, their income can suddenly drop.

It’s the same for business owners.

Your company may achieve RM500k in sales this month, but that doesn’t mean you have RM500k sitting in your bank account.

Customers may not have paid yet, but salaries, rental, suppliers and bank instalments still need to be paid.

That’s why sometimes, the real problem is not how much you earn.

It’s how well you manage your cash flow.

Making more money is important.

But the more important question is:

If your income suddenly stops, how long can your cash flow keep you going?

Whether you’re an artiste, an employee or a business owner:

High income ≠ Financial security.
Cash flow is what keeps you going in the long run.

I’m Max Ma. See you in the next video. 💪

You probably use Shopee all the time.

But do you know the story of the man behind it?

His name is Forrest Li — 李小冬 (Li Xiaodong).

His journey didn’t begin at the top.

Born in Tianjin, China, Forrest graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University before pursuing his MBA at Stanford University.

There’s also an interesting story behind his English name.

Because many people found “Xiaodong” difficult to pronounce, he adopted the name Forrest, inspired by the movie Forrest Gump.

After graduating, he moved to Singapore.

At the time, he was still carrying student debt and reportedly lived with his wife in a rented room in an HDB flat.

Who would have imagined that this young man would eventually build one of Southeast Asia’s most influential internet companies?

In 2009, he founded Garena, starting with the gaming business.

But even after Garena became successful, Forrest didn’t simply stay comfortable with what was already working.

He saw another huge opportunity:

E-commerce in Southeast Asia.

In 2015, Shopee was launched.

The market already had strong competitors.

So how could a newcomer compete?

Shopee focused heavily on a mobile-first strategy, riding the rapid growth of smartphone adoption across Southeast Asia.

And we know what happened next.

🇸🇬 Singapore
🇲🇾 Malaysia
🇮🇩 Indonesia
🇹🇭 Thailand
🇻🇳 Vietnam…

Shopee grew into one of Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce platforms, while its parent company, Sea, eventually listed in the United States.

From a young man carrying student debt and renting a room…

to becoming a billionaire entrepreneur.

But I think the biggest lesson from Forrest Li’s story isn’t how much money he made.

It’s this:

When your first business is already successful, do you still have the courage to look for your next growth opportunity?

Many business owners choose to protect what they already have.

Great entrepreneurs are already asking:

What’s my next move?

I’m Max Ma.

See you in the next video.

semakin banyak bisnes tempatan tutup,
SME semakin susah bertahan,
syarikat mula kurangkan pekerja,
dan peluang pekerjaan semakin berkurang…

Adakah kita benar-benar untung?

Saya bukan anti-PDD.

Barang murah memang bagus.

Adakah ia masih berbaloi?

Apa pendapat anda? Jom bincang secara matang. 👇

🇲🇾 Siri Kebanggaan Malaysia | Bank Tolak Pinjaman Mereka, Tetapi Mereka Berjaya Membina Jenama Bertaraf Dunia ❤️

Bank menolak permohonan pinjaman mereka.

Tiada pelabur.

Kisah Marrybrown bukan sekadar kisah sebuah restoran.

Tahukah anda?

Setiap hari mungkin anda sedang menyokong perniagaan orang yang sama.

☕ Minum Starbucks

🏪 Singgah 7-Eleven

🎫 Beli tiket Sports Toto

beliau membina sebuah empayar perniagaan,

mengharungi krisis kewangan,

jatuh,

Many business owners believe that as long as their sales are strong, getting a bank loan should be easy.

Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.

Banks don’t only look at sales.

They also look at:

✅ Cashflow Stability

✅ Bank Statement Performance

✅ CCRIS Repayment Record

✅ Consistent Business Transactions

In many cases, sales may look impressive.

But the company’s ending balance tells a very different story.

To a bank, a low ending balance may indicate that the business has little cash buffer and limited repayment capacity.

📌 Sales show activity.

📌 Cashflow shows strength.

📌 Ending Balance shows financial discipline.

Let me share a real case.

Last month, I met a client from the construction industry.

Compared to others in the same industry, the business was relatively stable and performing well.

Monthly sales ranged between RM300,000 and RM500,000.

At first glance, everything looked good.

However, after reviewing the company’s bank statements, I noticed that the ending balances were extremely low.

Almost every month, most of the money coming in was fully utilized.

As a result, even if the bank approved the financing, the approved amount would likely be much lower than what the client actually needed.

My advice was simple:

Don’t rush the application.

Let’s first strengthen the company’s cashflow position and build healthier ending balances over the next few months.

After implementing the plan and allowing some time for improvement, we reapplied.

The result?

✅ Financing approved successfully with a much more satisfactory amount.

Sometimes, the bank is not unwilling to lend.

It’s just that your financial position may not yet be presented in the strongest possible way.
