How can an investor benefit himself from market fluctuations?

Let’s assume you and your friend have formed an private company with Rs. 10 lakhs with 50% partnership each. Your is very emotional whose mind fluctuates very quickly. One day he came to you and said “I am going to sell my of this , if you pay me 20 lakh. Then what would be your answer? You would probably reject his offer because you know 20 lakh is for 50% shares. Another day, he came depressed and very and offered you same stake for 2 lakhs only. In this case, you would probably accept his because you know you are getting massive bargain from him.

In market, Mr. Market always comes to you and offer you different every day. Sometimes he is very optimistic and offers you ridiculously high prices. Similarly, when he is depressed he offers you depressed prices of stocks. An investors job is to use these offer/fluctuations on his/her favor.

If market offers you to your stocks at ridiculously high prices, then accept his offer and sell your shares to him. On the contrary, if he offers his stake to you at very depressed prices, then accept his offer and from him. However, if he offers you to sell your position to him at depressed price, do not accept his offer. If he offers you to buy his position at very high valuations, reject him. Because you know his offers are not in your favour.

The other job of an investor is to do “Nothing”. Let market come to you and offer you your price.

After a slow and gradual Accumulation lasting for 6 months ( June-Dec 2022) now it seems Nepse is heading towards Stage 2 accumulation at the levels of 1960-2080's.

Growth and Value stocks showing no sign of further decline on the other side trading stocks are seen to be more volatile now !!!
