Our adviser Simon Harding enjoyed representing Finance New Zealand at the NZ Trucking Association event in Christchurch over the weekend. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with transport operators and industry leaders from across New Zealand and hear firsthand about the challenges being felt across the sector.
Assisting transport businesses is a big part of what we do, from owner-drivers through to larger operators. Over the past few years, that has increasingly meant helping businesses manage cashflow pressure, create more headroom in existing lending, and restructure finance that no longer fits where the business is today.
We also really valued the wellbeing focus of the event, and the range of speakers from both within the industry and other fields who brought different perspectives to the conversation.
Thanks to NZ Trucking Association for bringing people together and putting these important conversations on the agenda. 💛🖤
ONE INDUSTRY. CONNECTED VOICES. PRACTICAL SUPPORT.
At the Teletrac Navman Trucking Industry Conference, New Zealand Trucking Association CEO David Boyce spoke about the importance of collaboration and how the Association works alongside the Transport Well Charitable Trust.
His message was clear, a stronger industry doesn’t mean we all need to become one voice.
Transport and the wider supply chain are diverse. Different associations, industry groups, businesses and organisations bring different expertise, experiences and perspectives.
Our strength comes from being one industry with connected voices.
It means working together where we have common ground, sharing knowledge and resources, reducing duplication and supporting each other to achieve better outcomes.
The New Zealand Trucking Association provides advocacy, representation and practical support for its members, while the Transport Well Charitable Trust works across the wider industry, delivering initiatives focused on safety, wellbeing, workforce development and community engagement.
Collaboration makes us stronger.
One Industry. Connected Voices. Practical Support.
