You've submitted your progress claim. Job done, right?

Not quite.

The amount you claim isn't always the amount you get paid. Your claim still needs to be assessed, variations checked, retentions deducted and the amount payable confirmed.

And if the paperwork doesn't line up, that's when the back-and-forth starts.
