Leean, Laura and Helen were pleased to attend an International Women’s Day Give to Gain breakfast, celebrating the power of uplifting, supporting and investing in women. Hosted by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in partnership with Forsyth Barr, the event featured insightful discussion on mentorship, financial empowerment, wellbeing and the wider impact of giving back to our communities.

It was also a pleasure to attend alongside Rachelle Jackson - Bayleys Waikato, and to support the important work of Dress For Success Hamilton NZ

On Wednesday night, Leean & Laura attended the Waikato Supper Club fundraiser with True Colours Children's Health Trust. As a collective, $231,485 was raised for Ronald McDonald House! We're proud to support such a great cause and thank everyone who supported the event.

Cynthia and I, along with Leean and Laura from our trust board (and Cleland Hancox Limited) were thrilled to join some of the crew from our local Hato Hone St John on a table as part of the Waikato Supper Club fundraiser on Wednesday night, raising money for Ronald McDonald House.

A lot of the families we support end up spending time at RMCH, so it was nice to be able to contribute to another great cause.

It just illustrated to us again, what a generous community we live in.

It is with great sadness that we advise that Clive Cleland QSM, passed away peacefully at home on 17 December 2025.

In March 1988 Clive commenced practice on his own after leaving KPMG.

Ray Hancox joined Clive in February 1990, hence their business partnership began.

Clive and Ray were joined by Peter Stewart in April 2000, resulting in the company Cleland Hancox Limited being formed.

Clive became a consultant in 2009 and then fully retired in June 2014.

Clive was heavily involved with the Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Research Trust, giving his time freely to these charities.

Clive will always be remembered for his support of our team’s professional development, past and present.

We extend our thoughts and condolences to Lorna and family at this sad time.
