What an amazing community we have in Southland!
Congratulations Southland Foundation on reaching another great milestone, thanks to the generosity of individuals and organisations helping to grow the long-term prosperity of our region 💚

MILESTONE ANNOUNCEMENT - We are proud to share that Southland Foundation has now reached $5 million in funds under management.

While the number is significant, what means the most is what sits behind it; the generosity of our community, the trust people have placed in the Foundation, and the collective belief that we can achieve so much more when we work together.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to perpetuity and building a lasting legacy that supports our community not just today, but for generations to come. By growing our funds and investing in the future, we are helping create a stronger, more resilient Southland.
We are incredibly thankful to all our wonderful fund holders, donors, founding and strategic partners. Your generosity and support continue to help Southland Foundation grow, ensuring the benefits of your contributions can be felt for generations to come.

After 30 years with McIntyre Dick, Robyn Reidie is retiring this Friday.

Robyn is one of those people who makes a lasting impact. Her kindness, humour, compassion and care for people show up every day, whether it’s for our clients, our team, her family or the community. When others might be rattled, Robyn brings a calm, experienced lens to everything she does. And she’s never afraid of a bit of fun, or of laughing at herself.

To mark her retirement, we ran a poll asking our team about Robyn.
The same words came up again and again: knowledgeable, kind, loyal and hardworking.

When we asked what she has meant to them, the answer was clear. A teacher and a mentor.

As one team member put it, “She built us up.”

Thank you, Robyn, for 30 wonderful years. We’ll miss you.

If Robyn has been part of your journey with McIntyre Dick, please share a memory or a message for her in the comments below.

📢 We're excited to welcome Amber Spence to McIntyre Dick as a Principal from 1 October 2026.

Amber joins us from Flintoff's Chartered Accountants, where she has built a strong reputation for client focused advice. And she isn't coming alone. Stacey, Elaine, Amanda and Kim, who have worked alongside Amber for years, are joining us too. 🎉

This is a big step for McIntyre Dick as we continue to grow, and it's a great fit. Amber and her team care about the same things we do: strong relationships, practical advice and making the numbers easy to understand.
