🚶‍♀️ That’s a wrap on Steptember! 👟

Four weeks, 13.8 million steps and the equivalent of walking from Invercargill to Japan! 🌏

🏆 Team 2 took out the overall win with 2.41 million steps, while Hayden Shaw topped the individual leaderboard with an incredible 833.4k steps.

But the best part? Our efforts have resulted in $2,300 being donated to three great causes ❤️

🚁 $1,000 – Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust
🏠 $650 – Ronald McDonald House Charities New Zealand Invercargill
💙 $650 – Hospice South Invercargill

With donations based on the steps we clocked up and the team members who went the extra mile, it’s great to see our efforts making a difference in our local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make Steptember a success! 👏💪

🎶 Te Anau was humming on Friday! 🎶

The Te Anau Ukulele Festival - TUF brought plenty of energy to town, with locals, visitors and talented ukulele bands from around the country coming together for a weekend of music, fun and community.

It was fantastic to see the town buzzing with people and activity - a great boost for local businesses and the wider Te Anau community. 💛

We were proud to sponsor the High Tea at Distinction Te Anau Hotel, with Maeghan and Shaye from our team there to enjoy the afternoon alongside the ukulele bands.

A great event in an even better community. 🎶👏

🌧️ Rain, hail or maybe even some Southland sunshine… the steps must be done! 👟

Week 3 of Steptember is done and dusted, and the Malloch McClean +MORE team is still getting out there, getting moving and raising money for charity.

With 50 of our 64-strong team taking part, we clocked up 3.13 million steps this week, taking our grand total to an impressive 9.8 million steps!

A few Week 3 stats:
👟 3,129,800 total steps
🚶 9,124 average steps per person, per day
🏆 208,500 steps for our top individual, Hayden

So, whether it’s a lunchtime walk, the long way home or braving the Southland weather… every step counts.
