You may need time to get your finance sorted and confirmed, and once you’ve found the one, settlement could still be several weeks away.

And considering today is already 1 October… Christmas suddenly isn’t that far away! 🎄

So, if your Christmas wish list includes:

🏡 A new home
🎄 Your Christmas tree in a new lounge
🔑 New keys before Santa arrives

Now is a pretty good time to get the ball rolling.

A bit of Friday learning 🤖💡

Great to get along to the Westpac Smart Series at the Oamaru Opera House today, brought together by Business South Waitaki and Westpac.

A really interesting session with Delegatedos
looking at how AI can actually be used practically in business… not just as another piece of tech, but helping us save time and work smarter.

One of the simple takeaways I loved was:

Ask. Train. Systemise. AI is a tool, and the quality of what you get from it depends on how you use, train and review it.

AI is moving incredibly quickly, so I think it’s important to keep learning, stay open-minded and understand how we can use it effectively in our own businesses.
