In Honour of Noah ❤️

To support Noah's Legacy and the Child Cancer Foundation, donate here: https://wigwednesday.org.nz/o/noahs-legacy

A little boy who touched so many lives, and a legacy that can help families for years to come.

Noah was a much-loved Taupō boy and part of the MBP family who sadly lost his battle with cancer last month.

While no words can ever truly capture the heartbreak of losing a child, Noah’s family, friends and our wider Taupō community want to honour his life in a way that can make a difference to other families facing the unimaginable journey of childhood cancer.

That’s why MBP is joining forces with Mediaworks & PAK’nSAVE Taupō to raise as much as we can for the Child Cancer Foundation, in Noah’s honour.

The Child Cancer Foundation supports children with cancer and their families through some of the hardest days of their lives. Providing practical, emotional and financial support when families need it most.
For us, this is about creating something positive from an incredibly difficult loss. A positive legacy for Noah that means his name can continue to make a difference, helping other children and families who find themselves walking a path that no family should ever have to face.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help.

By donating in Noah’s honour, you’re not only supporting the Child Cancer Foundation, you’re helping keep Noah’s memory alive and allowing his legacy to reach families who need a helping hand.

From his family and everyone who loved him, thank you for helping us honour Noah and create a legacy in his name.

For Noah and for every child and family facing cancer. ❤️

A tip-toe in the direction of lower interest rates but good news nonetheless.

A tip-toe in the direction of lower interest rates but good news nonetheless.

In what will be some very welcome good news for businesses and households alike, the Reserve Bank has dropped the official cash rate from 5.5% to 5.25%.

This is the first drop since March 2020 when it was dropped to 0.25%.

While this is a small move towards lower rates (and months earlier than most expected), there is still a long road to go in managing inflation, unemployment and overall economic activity. So the hard work isn't done and it is possible this could be the only drop until early 2025, with the rate till then still being the highest since 2008.

Some good news! Things are looking like they're heading in the right direction.

Some good news! Things are looking like they're heading in the right direction.

📉 Inflation has fallen to its lowest level since June 2021. Down 0.7pts from 4% in the March quarter to 3.3% for the June quarter.
