Recently, a client of mine faced a double whammy of insurance obstacles.

First, a medical diagnosis of Lymphedema led to a referral for liposuction, initially declined as cosmetic treatment. We refused to accept defeat, engaging the insurer through persistent negotiations. Our tenacity paid off, securing a $40,000 claim payout!

But the journey didn't stop there. An income protection claim loomed, with our client expecting over two months off work in the coming year. The insurer initially refused, but we weren't ready to back down. Over a three-month team effort, involving the client, and medical professionals, we secured an income protection claim, delivering over $7,000.

Insurance claims are not always straightforward but for me, going above and beyond for my clients is what I take pride in!

Here's a real-life tale of triumph for a client of mine!

Initially, an injury put their dental career on hold, leading to an income protection claim with a daunting 13-week waiting period. Even though they returned to work on the 11th week, the struggles continued.

Fast forward a year, and a specialist advised a second surgery. The insurance company insisted on another 13-week wait. This is where I saw the need to dive deeper into my client's policy!

Through a meticulous review, I uncovered that my client never fully recovered and had been working at a reduced capacity. By delving into the specialist's records from the past 18 months, we revealed eligibility for partial disability coverage. The result? A whopping $60,000 in backdated pay!

They not only got the financial support they deserved but also the peace of mind they needed.
