The story behind The VA Portfolio ✨
Like many Filipino Virtual Assistants, my remote work journey started during the pandemic.
I worked with a cleaning service company where I handled customer support, dispatch coordination, social media management, recruitment, onboarding, and marketing campaigns. During that time, I discovered how much I enjoy helping businesses stay organized, support their teams, and improve their customer experience.
Later, I joined a vacation rental property management company where I started in guest relations and eventually transitioned into marketing. I managed guest communications, coordinated cleaning and maintenance teams, helped onboard new properties, created marketing materials, managed social media accounts, and built email campaigns.
Through these experiences, I learned how to use different tools, create systems, support teams, and contribute to the growth of a business.
Along the way, I realized how much I enjoy the operational and administrative side of supporting business owners. That realization encouraged me to continue learning, improving my skills, and exploring new ways to grow in the virtual assistance field.
Today, I am transitioning into becoming an Executive Virtual Assistant, helping entrepreneurs manage operations, stay organized, and focus on what matters most in their business.
