𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐒: 𝐏𝐁𝐌 𝐀𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐏𝐔𝐒𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 FOR 𝐅𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

On May 6, 2026, Bataan National High School – Senior High School (BNHS-SHS)
administered the second batch of entrance examination Pre-Baccalaureate Maritime. The examination was conducted from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Jose P. Laurel (JPL) Building. Following the successful completion of the entrance examination, applicants proceeded to the next phase of assessment, which included the Ishihara Test and the Pre-Screening Test.

The Ishihara Test evaluated the examinees’
color vision that is an essential requirement in maritime training while the Pre-Screening Test assessed their overall readiness, discipline, and potential to meet the standards of the program. These additional evaluation ensured that only qualified and capable candidates move forward in the selection process.

Through determination and perseverance, the applicants demonstrated their commitment in becoming future maritime professionals. Each stage of the screening process reflects not only their academic abilities but also their preparedness to take the challenges ahead.

All 1st batch applicants who have not yet undergone the medical screening are advised that it is now available until 5:00 PM today. Please be informed to directly visit the clinic of BNHS-SHS. We advise to come as early as possible.

The 2nd batch of PBM test permits is now available and has been sent via email. All examinees are advised to check their inboxes for their official test permits. The examination is scheduled on May 6, 2026, from 0800H to 1200H.

At exactly 0800H on May 4, 2026, aspiring PBM cadets of BNHS-SHS reported on deck to undergo the initial medical screening, marking their first step toward becoming part of the PBM Class of 2026–2027.

With discipline and determination, aspirants took part in essential health assessment, including blood pressure monitoring, height measurement, and Ishihara Test to evaluate visual readiness.

The activity was carried out with the guidance of school personnel, particularly School Nurses, Ma’am Karleen Mae Inieto and Ma’am Miles Cruz, alongside the assistance of Fleet Officers, ensuring a smooth, organized, and efficient flow of operations.

Throughout the event, colors officers and paraders carried out their entrusted roles with honor and responsibilities guiding the ceremony with discipline and excellence. The ex*****on of duties uphold a tradition while ensuring the flawless ex*****on of the ceremony. Their contributions created a meaningful and memorable experience for all graduates, marking the beginning of a new journey.

On March 25, 2026, Bataan National High School Senior High School held its Recognition Ceremony for Grade 11 students. Selected aspirants from the Pre Baccalaureate Maritime program were given the honor of carrying the Colors, an important responsibility that reflects the discipline, pride, and tradition of the organization. As bearers of honor, they carried out their role with dignity, representing the values that define future maritime professionals.

After receiving their awards, a meaningful moment followed as parents proudly placed the nameplates on their children during the ceremony. Each nameplate stands as a symbol of dedication, discipline, and the dreams they carry as future seafarers. This moment served as a reminder that behind every student’s achievement is a family who supported, guided, and stood by them through every wave of their journey.

The activity was also guided by the current Fleet Officers of the Pre-Baccalaureate Maritime organization, who helped make sure everything went smoothly and in order. With their leadership and assistance, the ceremony was carried out properly, showing the teamwork and discipline within the organization.
