⁉️IS AN AUDITED FS REQUIRRD?⁉️

The “threshold” amount in requiring an auditor’s report in filing both the ITR to the BIR and FS to the SEC is set at ₱3 Million.

⭕️The difference is the application of that threshold.

✔️For the BIR, the basis is the gross annual sales, earnings, receipts or output
✔️For the SEC, the basis is the total assets or total liabilities.

‼️If the applicable bases above exceeds the ₱3 Million threshold, an auditor’s report is mandatory.

𝗧𝗔𝗫 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝘉𝘐𝘙 𝘍𝘐𝘓𝘌𝘚 ₱2.228-𝘉 𝘛𝘈𝘟 𝘊𝘈𝘚𝘌 𝘝𝘚. 𝘏𝘖𝘕𝘎𝘚𝘏𝘌𝘕𝘎

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has filed a ₱2.228-billion tax evasion case against Hongsheng Gaming Technology, Inc. over alleged tax violations connected to its offshore gaming operations in the Philippines.

📌 The investigation covering taxable years 2021–2023 reportedly found alleged:
🔹 Underdeclaration of income
🔹 Incorrect VAT declarations
🔹 Failure to withhold and remit final withholding taxes for foreign employees

💰 The alleged deficiency in income tax, VAT, and final withholding tax totals ₱2,227,759,311.21.

⚖️ The case was filed with the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the BIR’s Run After Tax Evaders (RATE) Program.
