The filing deadline for the 2025 Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and related reportorial requirements has been 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗. This follows the issuance of Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 30-2026 by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

🗓️ Revised Deadlines:
• Annual Financial Statements of All Corporations: 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
• SEC Form 52-AR of Brokers & Dealers: 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
• Annual Reports (SEC Form 17-A) with AFS as attachment: 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

All corporations are reminded to ensure that submitted AFS are duly received by the BIR.

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗔𝗫 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 30-2026, extending the deadline to May 15, 2026 for the filing of 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns, payment of the corresponding taxes due thereon, and submission of required attachments.

“In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., this extension is meant to make tax compliance easier for taxpayers at a time when many are managing added strain from the ongoing energy crisis,” Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza said.

Taxpayers may file through the BIR’s electronic filing platforms and pay electronically through available payment platforms, or manually through the nearest Authorized Agent Banks.

Pinalawig natin ang deadline ng filing ng 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns mula April 15 hanggang May 15, 2026. Mas may oras ang bawat taxpayer na makapag-file nang maayos, kasama ang lahat ng kailangang dokumento, at walang ipapataw na penalties.

Maaaring mag-file at magbayad sa pamamagitan ng BIR electronic platforms, o sa mga Authorized Agent Banks.

Ginawa natin ito para mas magaan ang pagbabayad ng bawat Pilipino, lalo na sa panahong ramdam ang pagtaas ng presyo ng langis. Tuloy-tuloy ang ating ginagawa para maibsan ang bigat sa araw-araw na buhay ng ating mga kababayan.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has released Memorandum Circular No. 10, series of 2026, providing updated guidelines on reportorial compliance and the scale of penalties to ensure uniform monitoring and enforcement.

These guidelines aim to strengthen compliance standards and support transparency under the Revised Corporation Code.

📣 𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗙𝗦, 𝗚𝗜𝗦 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued the schedule for the submission of corporations’ annual financial statements (AFS) and general information sheets (GIS) for 2026.

The SEC on February 11 issued Memorandum Circular No. 9, Series of 2026, which provides for the schedule of the 2026 Filing of Annual Financial Statements and General Information Sheets.

The AFS and GIS shall be filed through the Electronic Filing and Submission Tool, or eFAST. Other reports not yet accepted through eFAST shall be submitted through the iMessage Online Ticketing System at imessage.sec.gov.ph.

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and Compliance Assistant to support our team in managing accounting and compliance tasks for multiple clients. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates to gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, tax compliance, and BIR-related transactions while working with diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:
✅Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions in books of accounts, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
