📢 BIR REGISTRATION SEAL BADGE: KAILANGAN MO NA BA ITO?

May online business ka? Nagbebenta sa Facebook, Instagram, Shopee, Lazada, website, o nagbibigay ng services online? 👀

Baka sakop ka ng requirement ng BIR na mag-display ng BIR Registration Seal Badge sa iyong online platforms.

Ano ba ang BIR Registration Seal Badge?
Ito ay digital proof na nagsasabing registered ang iyong business sa BIR. Mayroon itong QR code na maaaring i-scan para ma-verify ang authenticity ng registration at validity ng business registration. Ginawa rin ito para hindi na kailangang i-post publicly ang buong BIR COR/eCOR na naglalaman ng sensitive information gaya ng TIN at address.

👀 Sino ang kailangang mag-display?

Kabilang sa covered taxpayers ang:
🛒 Online sellers and merchants
📱 Businesses selling through social media
🛍️ E-commerce/e-marketplace sellers
💻 Businesses and service providers with an online presence
🎥 Certain professionals, content creators, influencers, and others earning through digital/electronic means, subject to the applicable registration requirements.

📅 Kailan ang deadline?
The BIR has extended the compliance period until October 31, 2026 under RMC No. 99-2026. Covered taxpayers who have not yet displayed the badge have until this date to comply, without penalties arising solely from non-display during the extended period.

💰 May bayad ba?
The BIR Registration Seal Badge itself is free of charge. However, if you need to update your registration information through ORUS in order to secure the badge, the process may involve payment of the applicable ₱30 Loose Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

So if you're an online business owner, don't wait until the deadline is near. Check your BIR registration details and make sure your business is ready to comply with the Seal Badge requirement.
