Totoo ba ang life insurance?
September 2020. A very close friend of mine inquired about the details of VUL. She’s very interested with the investment part for her and her husband’s retirement. Sabi nya pa nga, ung life insurance ay pwede na maging pamana sa magiging anak nila.
April 2021. They finally proceed with their application and it was approved after 3 days. She’s very happy and proud that time dahil may insurance na sya.
August 2021. I received a very heartbreaking news that my client was brought to the hospital but was dead on arrival. Napakabilis ng mga pangyayari, everyone’s devastated especially her family.
Fast forward, her husband and I prepared all the needed documents for the processing of the claim. We knew that this would take time since the policy is still under contestability period.
February 15 2022. I received an email informing me that the claim is already approved and for bank processing. I talked to her husband who is also a friend to tell him the news and he was very thankful. Sabi nya nga, hindi matutumbasan ng halagang yun ang buhay ng asawa nya pero malaking tulong iyon para makapagpatuloy ang pamilyang naiwan nya. And that’s absolutely true.
Life insurance is real. It's just 4 months since her policy was approved but when the unfortunate event happen, she left something that will be a great help for her family.
To my dear friend, I honor you dahil hanggang sa huling pagkakataon hindi mo pinabayaan ang pamilya mo. Thank you for trusting me.
