📢 **BIR DEADLINE EXTENSION DUE TO HABAGAT**

May good news para sa mga affected taxpayers! 🌧️

Ayon sa **BIR Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 89-2026**, nag-extend ang BIR ng ilang tax filing at payment deadlines dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng **Southwest Monsoon o Habagat**.

📅 **NEW DEADLINE: AUGUST 17, 2026 (MONDAY)**

Ang extension ay para sa mga **specified tax deadlines na originally due from August 10–16, 2026**, para sa taxpayers na kabilang sa mga **affected BIR offices/RDOs**.

✅ Covered ang:
• Tax filing
• Tax payments
• Remittances
• Registration requirements
• Required submissions
• e-Filing, e-Payment, eFPS, at manual transactions

🏢 **Covered BIR Offices:**
• 53 Revenue District Offices (RDOs)
• 5 Large Taxpayer Audit and Excise Divisions
➡️ **58 BIR offices/units in total**

🏦 Mayroon ding **Bank Bulletin No. 2026-09**, kung saan ang Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) ay maaaring tumanggap ng applicable tax returns at payments ng covered taxpayers hanggang **August 17, 2026**, without corresponding penalties.

⚠️ **IMPORTANT REMINDER:**
Hindi ibig sabihin nito na lahat ng taxpayers sa buong Pilipinas ay automatic na covered. Kailangan munang i-check kung ang **RDO ng taxpayer ay kabilang sa affected offices** at kung ang particular tax obligation ay kasama sa extension.

👉 Kaya kung may upcoming BIR deadline ka between **August 10–16, 2026**, make sure na i-check muna kung covered ka ng **RMC No. 89-2026**.
