Did you know that your life insurance policy can be used as a Mortgage Redemption Insurance?

Ano nga ba ang MRI o ang Mortgage Redemption Insurance?

Basically, this is your insurance to protect your properties na pinupundar mo pa lamang like lupa, bahay, etc. na kasulukuyan mo pang niloan at binabayaran sa bangko. The main use of MRI is that, if you are taken out of the picture or if you get disabled, your insurance can pay in full amount yung bahay or lupa na nakaloan sa bangko. 🥰🙏🏻

That way, hindi hahabulin ng bank yung family mo kung sakaling mawala ka or madisable ka. Hindi babawiin ng bangko yung property mo at hindi mapapaalis yung family mo. Hindi masasayang yung pinagpaguran mong ipundar for how many years. ‼️HEARTBREAKING‼️

Have you tried the official SSS Retirement Computation? I calculated mine. Sample below is what I will get once I retire. I started working in 2008 and since then, I didnt stop my contribution.

Work/Contribution start date: 10/2008

Computed my retirement benefit of my current self as 37 year old employee earning ₱200,000 monthly salary. It turns out that I will only have ₱12K+ per month pension and 13k+ if I retire at age 65. Take note, monthly earnings is ₱200,000 every month.

Now, how much are we all earning again?

Putting it in the right perspective, at age 60, that 13K+ pension, parang one shopping cart nalang or kulang pa para mapuno ang isang cart. Not to mention our medical expenses.

✅ If you die, they lost the money maker, but not the money.

✅ If you get sick, you don’t have to use your savings and their savings. Hindi nila kailangang mangutang. Plus, they don’t have to set up online donation pages for you.

✅ If all else fails, they don’t have to sell properties or give up their own ambitions for you.

“Na-ICU yung mother niya tapos more than P4,000,000 yung binayad sa hospital.”

He witnessed a friend go through this, kaya humihingi siya sakin ng insurance.

On top of this, he will also get pamana money (death benefit) and a little bit of non-guaranteed benefits from a mixed pool of bonds and equities on the side.
